What if I have multiple headshots with totally different looks? In a hard copy submission, an agent only requests one headshot. How do you choose?
Kim's Answer: Once you have a branding statement and listen to entire pitch section you will have more intel on this. But with that in mind... pick headshots based on first if it matches branding statement and type of rep you are seeking. Musical theatre is different than film/tv. With that in mind if it’s across the board you may a different headshot on your resume side for a different genre of work so they see both. If applying for musical theatre your main shot is the big headshot and the one on resume is more tv driven.. if it’s a hard copy submission you can get creative and even put a photo on your letterhead on your cover letter. And ps just because they say one headshot doesn’t mean you can’t have photo on your resume (you should anyway) and/or on your other marketing material you submit
