How do we go about requesting the list of agencies and their clients from actor's equity?

Kim's Answer: Hi Madison!! If you are a member, you can get the list of franchised agencies on their website :) If you are not, you can call and ask or stop by the building in NYC or regional office. I hope this helps. Also, side note to this. If you have a close friend who is aea and you aren't you can ask them to get it for you at their office or on the website

Hi Kim. What do you send in a follow up when you have very little or nothing to report? The best I have from the past month is emailing back and forth with a Broadway producer who said I had a great background and fit for the reading they they were casting, though I didn’t get the audition.

Kim's Answer: Hi! congrats on that back and forth> Super exciting and thats a win despite not getting the audition. I'd probably mention that.. ie "You had a great back and forth via email with a broadway producer about being considered for a reading they were doing." Maybe too you can always do a website update or add a new performing video to it and/or mention that. the basics always work. remember this is just a reminder to them. you don't need to get to deep.

When you're sending follow-ups/updates to potential reps, would you include that you've had auditions/interviews with other reps?

Kim's Answer: Unless you get an offer from one and are awaiting word on another and need to tell them you did so you can get some sort of response i don't think it's necessary. Along the same lines, a lot of times if you are freelancing with one you don't need to tell the other you have other rep. Until you are signed it is a non-issue. I Hope this helps!
